Sabbath School
Each Sabbath, Seventh-day Adventists meet to fellowship and explore the Bible together. Sabbath School provides a safe environment to ask questions, share faith experiences and get to know Jesus better through a shared, interactive study of the Bible in a small-group setting. The program also often includes music, prayer and inspirational community outreach stories.
We offer 2 options for small group Bible study. One small group in Cook Islands language and one in English.
We are going through the Sabbath School Study guide which can be assessed at - www.sabbath.school
Cook Islands Combine
On the First Sabbath of every month, we have a Cook Islands combine meeting from 2:30pm - 4:00pm. This meeting brings together those Cook Islanders from other churches. The other churches represented include Sandgate, Inala, Logan Reserve, Springwood, Mt Gravatt and Annerley. We sing and share in the Cook Island language encouraging learning the books of the bible and sharing messages of hope.
We have also run sports days, special Sabbath programs for visiting family from overseas and are part of connecting with other Cook Island churches around Australia
